More hair tranformations!

Gigi AKA Cinderella also is sporting a new hair style thanks to Naruto.

She and Daddy went for the minimal approach.

Their heads feel like stroking teddy bears. I sometimes do get sympathy looks and have been asked once how she was doing.

This is Cinderella giving Daddy a hair cut !

  1. Brave dad!

When Holly was four or so, we went on a cross-country trip. She decided along the way somewhere that she wanted to go to a barber ship and get her hair cut really short.

My husband is a bit of a scary-looking guy, and we thought... it might not be a good idea for him to take a little girl into a barber shop far from home and ask them to cut her hair like a boy's. So we discouraged it, but the van broke completely down in South Dakota, and I spent three days in a scary little motel by a freeway exit in Kimball SD.

There wasn't much to do, so I cut Holly's hair "finger short" with kid scissors for something to do. I'd just cut off whatever stuck out above my fingers when I ran my fingers through her hair, and the wind blew the hair away.

  2. Oh I cannot wait till Gigi's hair is about a finger in lenght. I think pixie cuts are so cute in girls with tiny little faces like her. I on the other hand would look pretty uggly.
    Holly must have looked adorable!
Daddy loves very short hair and Gigi has learned to use the clippers by getting her calves ready to show!
